  8.        1.  _I_n_t_r_o_d_u_c_t_i_o_n

  10.        The Silicon Graphics ImageVision Library (IL) is an object-
  11.        oriented, extensible toolkit for creating, processing, and
  12.        displaying images on all Silicon Graphics workstations. The
  13.        library provides image-processing application developers
  14.        with a robust framework for managing and manipulating
  15.        images.
  16.  
  17.        IL software consists of a primary library for C++,
  18.        supporting libraries for C and Fortran programmers, and the
  19.        header files for compiling new software using these
  20.        libraries.  Documentation consists of the _I_m_a_g_e_V_i_s_i_o_n
  21.        _L_i_b_r_a_r_y _P_r_o_g_r_a_m_m_i_n_g _G_u_i_d_e and online man pages for all
  22.        object classes and supporting routines.

  83.        the Tools submenu of the Toolchest. This displays the
  84.        _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) graphical browser for the online release notes.

  87.        options to this command.
